No they suck, and begging them not to suck won't fix it
except... complaining also doesn't do anything...

They say empty your cache but why when I play Lichess or chess24 I never get any connection issues? It's so annoying losing games constantly because you start disconnecting when you have 30 seconds on the clock

Are you sure it says your connection to the game is good? Does your house just have bad wifi or something???
the only website on the PLANET, where my internet keeps disconnecting for no apparent reason. wtf ist wron with chess.com...never happened to me on lichess. not once.

interesting... So you never had asked chess.com about the problem?
worst site ever, bye.
well, in the end there was nothing you could've done about it unless you talked to the chess.com staff
Chess.com is a VERY cluttered site, so many gimmicks and tchotchkes (in sharp contrast to the less is more efficiency at lichess). A definite source of connectivity problems.
well, in the end there was nothing you could've done about it unless you talked to the chess.com staff. And since it seems in your case you have, I guess is up to them to solve it or work on something else (unless they are already working on it).
worst site ever, bye.
I hear your frustration. Hopefully the folks at chess.com do also and are really trying to help.
hope they are if there is a problem I guess...
funny; you have one eye on the clock and know you're ahead by some 20 seconds and then, KABOOM, you lost on time on an end game; happens too often and too many points lost to players rated below you; wonder if there is any other chess site we can play where this is a non-issue.
Massive difference with how the clock runs down between Lichess and Chess.com. Lichess is light years ahead in this regard
2020 still the same problem... I am quite fast but I can literally see my time jumping from like 56 to 46 in bullet. I end up losing on time cause my opponents have more time (my time) to think about their move.
Same for me but its like 2 seconds

So it makes it a bit harder to play bullet
It is frustrating for sure. I have a quiet chuckle to myself when Chess.com send me messages to upgrade my account. I was a paid member before but when a free site offers a very similar experience and has better response how could I justify it? Sure chess.com has tons more features and some are well worth paying for but when they can't get the basics right then why should I? Convince me otherwise?
problem is such a sick mind. while also cumulative lag compensation exits.
wth happens with this manipulation is that compensation algorithm processing sheets all around during every seconds but mostly heavily counts last 10 seconds to steal fair players time no matter pre-moves or fast move pretends while reducing from 10 seconds to zero in order to manipulate clocks and just give you enough time to watch flagging.. That also why your mouse stalls then with strange behaver. CIA have develop and test this algorithm these sites for international processes there is nothing you can do abouth it. you have to sit n watch lagger sheets steal your win. Just pink knowing its your win stolen. service compensates lagger time from your clock what else dudes. do not whine.
cheese.com nvm their database is full 90percent of nonsense games registered lose by flagging while m1. and never tries to correct algorithm.
wth is pity server register every lag but never show it in pgn instead they should to prevent you to prove that your opponent also manipulates lags.
i have tried lagcheating and won a few lag cheats. not talking from whine-side. also made GM penguin confess his cheats proving his process. problem is all about algorithm calculations utilized by cheaters. telling it is CIA progress since p2p connection time correction work this way you can never correct lag but behave as same stealing time from one site..
well ıf you are complaınıng to much lag cheats try thıs and be a lag cheater too. But ıt ıs not funny watchıng your opponents tme fly away.
just stream 30 youtube vıdeos whıle you play you wıll kıll any lagger ın rage.
game sites are highway to hell. muhahahahaha.
this is... slightly disturbing

Lag switches, or watching videos have zero impact at all against your opponents on this site; it only would impact your connection and with lag compensation, you are only forgiven for a specific amount.
The live server is what handles the clocks and lag compensation, so that process knows when your opponent's move was received and that is when it starts your clock and will adjust that clock based on information received on your move. So your side of the move exchange will only impact the client clock of your opponent by adding time (the transit time and lag compensation from your client to the server).
My solution is the best, but chess.com and others refuse.
Are u sure u sent, like a letter to them? Cuz there is no reason chess.com refuses fixing a problem. Additionally if they're not fixing it , there might just be other problems that they nee dt fix
