Yes... and this happens a lot. I think every top chess player has had this same experience happen to them at lease once or twice to them and similarly some people have resigned in completely winning positions, or positions which there was a hidden defense that they didn't see.
Something super frustrating.

Today I played a rated game vs a 1400 rated player, and I offered a draw. BUT WHAT I FAILED TO SEE IS THAT I WAS COMPLETELY WINNING. I WOULD HAVE GAINED 16 RATING POINTS. The eval bar was +5. I wasn't up any material. I feel so stupid for not seeing that I was winning. Has this happened to anyone else?
