strânge writers time behaiviour

hello,
i just finish a 5 minutes game. my oponent was at the edge eur the time. his/her time was 1 s or less., but every time it moved the time jumped back to over 1 s.
is this a new feature? i do get it. It does not seem fair.
Rechecking the game the moves appear OK with 0.1 or 0.3 s differences. But when i was playing the time has weird jumped
