I get that a lot of people can't see how creepy it is. I mentioned Miss USA; same thing...sometimes you have to step way back to appreciate the travesties that society allows and pretends are okay ;).
The Prettiest chess player!

Ha! If ogling photos of women are at the top of your "travesties of society" list, life's pretty damn' easy.

Well, this stuff is a bit creepy:
This not so much:

It's pathetic that these women “exploit” men by wearing makeup and spending thousands of dollars on clothing and shoes to improve their looks. Then these same women accuse men of being pigs for appreciating their beauty.

Taliban.
Lol, I am a volunteer dungeon monitor at a BDSM venue and I play with/see lots of women...
The difference is, if I am going to leer at a women, it's consensual and she will be looking back at me accepting it becasue she signed up for that ;)...
Learn to respect women and leave the sex/desire out of it until they are on board with the idea. It's not hard to get a women on board...women love sensuality, they just don't like being used...just like any human being.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, back the truck up...
1) You volunteer at a BDSM venue where people abuse each other (even if it's consensual) and you're telling us to "respect women"?
2) And I could get paid for it?
All kidding aside, I would hardly call admiring a woman (or man) who is both attractive and intelligent "creepy", especially given that the pictures posted here are far from provocative.

I am astonished a simple question 'Who is the most pretty(beautiful)chess player?' begins such an impressive discussion...
I agree with @ProfessorProfesesen and @expand too...It is about intention and from the point of view you are looking at the concept.

A male being offended by other men talking about women's beauty is just an attempt to gain favor with women by imagining you are on their side. A. You only want to do it because you like how women look. B. They may sometimes pretend to agree with you till the point when they don't. C. That strategy does not work.
I am a little surprised no one is posting pics of chess.com profiles. Although some are probably fake, some are not and many are better than what has been posted here so far.

The only thing "low class" (so far that i can see) are those attention-mongers decrying unethical, sexist, disrespectful, and even explicit behavior where there isn't any...ironically, they are ones interjecting such "creepy" talk into this discussion. Ack.

I can't vouch for the rest, but the picture I posted of Kosteniuk (ChessQueen on chess.com) is from her personal web site, which features multiple "fashion" photo galleries.

I'm surprised at how many threads like this there are where the subject always comes down to a male/female battle. I believe what the women and some men are disagreeing to is the objectification of these women. No wonder there are few women going to chess clubs!! Look at what you guys do when an attractive woman walks in. Can't you just be happy that there are more women playing chess? You show them no respect by posting these photos and only observing their beauty.
Now, why not start a thread "Which female chess player has the best body?"

That would at least be different from the normal threads that deal with "which guy has the biggest...chess talent"

Huh? Tell me, Lou...is there anything revelent, helpful, or nice to your remark, or are you just one of those kind of ppl who love the sight of their own
"clever" posts regardless of context?
This thread is definitely low class. A thread for the sun..
