For my chess studying I like to play a set of rapid (10+0) games and a set of blitz (3+0) games. Originally I was doing 10 blitz games a day and 5 rapid games a day. However, this has not left me with a lot of time to study chess in other ways, like reading books. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to cut it down to 3 rapid games and 5 blitz games and spend more time studying books?
