I dropped a piece in time trouble once, then resigned. The post-game chat: "Hahaha, moron". What a villain!
The worst chat you can possibly send to an opponent after winning a live game
For me, it would be revealing that I'm a 13 year old kid literally in my parents basement. :)
They can just check your date of birth on your profile page.
Also, I lost against several 13-yo at my club. Nothing wrong with it.
13 year olds are easy. Especially Magnus Carlsen. When he was 13, he wasn't even a GM yet, he only had 2 norms and a 2450+ rating. Plus, he didn't even manage to beat Garry Kasparov, he only got a draw. What a patzer that guy was.
@Cnacnel I'm not a particularly gifted 13 year old who can play and beat most adults, though.
I say "Good game" after every match, whether I win or lose. (That is, if the person stays in the chat long enough for me to type it.)
your mom has put up better fights in one night than you did in this blitz game
If you got something to say, come down the hall to your mother's room.
Staying silent and just typing "lol" is probably the worst thing you can do if you really beat someone badly. Maybe "LOL!" is even worse. I did that against someone who was trying to trash talk during the game, it got them furious haha.
i will write gg after a closely contested game, win or lose. i write nothing if I either win or lose decisively. Then it just seems derisive.
"Your moves weren't that bad. Speaking of moves, you wanna go to my swinger's party tonight by the beach?"
"that was gangnam style"
