I presume you're referring to Live Chess. In Live Chess you can play games with a time control of 120 60. The 120 refers to minutes per side. The 60 refers to seconds added to your clock after you move. In a typical game of 40 or so moves, this amounts to roughly 160 minutes per side. That's not so short a time limit, I would think (2 hours, 40 minutes per side).
its a shame about the short time limit you cant enjoy a nice game with a good challenger
