Perhaps an option on the settings for no sound, sound, and sound effects. I am not a fan of the new sounds either. I thought my speakers were broken the first time I heard them.
Oh my god, this is my first time on live chess in a few days-- it's ridiculous!
I definitely miss the old sounds in the beta live chess. The new piece moving sounds make me feel like I am working at a construction site.
