I see flags; I see flags everywhere. 
Yes, that's my way of saying I don't know. Maybe you don't have enough available memory and you need to do a cache clear?

i see 3 dots at the end of everyones names. no flags.
Same for me during live games, also can't see their connection status (but can see mine though). Opponent's flag shows if you open the game later. Saves on some location-based idiotic comments I guess. Also doesn't show scores vs. an opponent if you play a bunch in a session.
any solution?

Do you play on "play > live chess" or "play > play"?
As @baddogno suggested, you could try clearing your browser's cache. You could also try rebooting your computer or connecting with a different browser.

im playing on https://www.chess.com/play/online
tried another browser, same issue.
