it will be coming eventually, Chess960 is relatively new feature in regular chess right now, and the main concern for the Chess.com staff is disconnections.

Live chess does not work correctly. Live chess 2 is supposed to make standard chess work.

Yes -- there's a need to focus on making sure the core functionality is working properly first, then the bells and whistles can be added. I'm pretty sure that's the plan with Live Chess 2.0.
