Why is there no "Today's Rank" for Live Chess?

But why can't chess.com just see what everyone's rating is at midnight and then thats their rank for the day?
The live chess cannot be ranked because there is too much games going on and also games are too quick so it is not accurat,. games are finishing every second!!
Why for online chess but not for live chess?
