Chess in NYC/Manhattan?

Does anyone know of/is interested in starting a chess meet-up in Manhattan? I've looked around but seems most meet-ups are in Brooklyn or Long Island. I'm just looking for a casual environment in Manhattan to play chess and meet new people. The pandemic and working from home have kept me isolated for too long. happy.png

Hi referendarius,

Yes, I've heard of it -- but ideally looking for something a bit less formal -- more of a get-together rather than a serious club. I'm still very much a beginner.
