First, a quick reminder that there is no Tuesday chess at Jessop's Tavern in Old New Castle, DE tonight. However, they do have a band tonight! And very good food! There is chess next Tuesday at 6:30 in the back room. Fun over the board skittles and deep game analysis.

This Thursday starts a new Swiss at the West Chester Chess Club. If you can't make the first round, you can join in any round. It is game 100/5D and USCF rated. Between 20 and 30 show up. Details are found at the club's site. We've had a lot of local chess.com players join! One must be fully vaccinated to play. And a member of the USCF - join here
This weekend there are quads in Downingtown, PA, sponsored by the Tri Bridges Chess Club
- May 15th - Sunday Quads at Code Ninja - 150 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Downingtown, PA. These will start at 1 go to about 4, and are also G/25, d5. There are 3 rounds as you are put in groups of 4 and play each person once. $20 entry fee and trophy to best score in quad (if ties both win trophies, no tiebreaks)
