Me, my husband attend to Kolkata chess tournament next month

Well, I am not from Kolkata; but I do visit twice a year. Good luck. Hopefully someday we'll get to meet and play a game or two when I'm there. I really don't have many to play with when I visit.

You are playing tournament before? This one my first tournament it is

exactly where it was held. next time I too want to participate.

@Imadesigirl - sorry 4 the delay in responding. I used to play in tournaments when I was in college (long time ago...oops!....lol). Now I only play 4 fun and rarely online.

Good luck. The two things most struggle with at their first OTB tournament is the clock and the touch and move rules. Remember to tap the clock at the end of your move and that it needs to be done with the same hand you used to make the move. Remember too if you touch one of your pieces you must move it, if you touch one of your opponents pieces you must capture it, assuming the move is legal.
