The club is 6 weeks active as of tomorrow and growing well.

Beginning February 4th 2023 the Payette Chess Club will be meeting at the Payette Public Library 24 South 10th Street most Saturdays. Time is 10:30 am to 3:30 pm
This first meeting will be held in the main area of the library because Boise State University has use of the Community Room that day. Going forward we will be meeting in the Community Room.
Membership is free.
Please bring your set and a chess clock if you have one.
The library agreed to let us use the room rent free, saving the club over $3,000 per year in fees. It might be a nice gesture once the club reaches sufficient membership, to pitch in and buy the library some new chess books as their current small collection is in dire need of an update.
