I know there are some positions where almost every move is winning or moves where there is a mate in 3 but the task is to find mate in 2 and my suggestion for those puzzles is to simply remove them or give them as bonus puzzles.
0 point suggestion

I guess they want us to find the best move in the position mate , no harm in that , get your point re losing points for going for the second best move mind you , but we cant buy owt with the points and our game should get better if we see the best move

you literally ignored the entire point of this post. it doesn't hurt your game at all many GMs have suggested not following the engines suggestion when it finds a winning move thats more complicated looking than your own winning move. It even saves time doing it that way which is important to tournament chess. In that case a lot of tactical servers deducting points for not finding the computer suggestion is not only unfair it teaches bad habits

Actually it's laziness. There'll be a simple algorithm which everyone uses, not understanding that it's damaging people's ability rather than enhancing it .... it's a case of not guiding the technology but being led by the nose by it. Stupid.
exactly. some tactical servers have realized this so I tend to do more so training there. I cant picture chess.com not being the #1 playing site but for educational purposes its in the middle towards the bottom of my list. they make changes no one asked for that makes the site stand out less (some changes are good) but this one tactical problem I never see them even attempt to correct like other sites have started doing
Im beginning to get very frustrated with tactical puzzles when it comes to finding the best move. I dont mean this in the way that the puzzles being to hard to solve but I mean this in the way that you can find a winning move, but because it isn;t the best the tactical program takes away points. this seems almost an unfair system against humans since most top players dont find the very best moves half the time but still find the move that gets the job done. I have a suggestion for tactical servers which is simply to award a 0 point if you find a winning but no the best move. It makes no sense to take away moves since the brain is almost hardwired to stop looking (especially under time pressure) once it finds a winning move weather it's the best move or not. Can chess.com and chesskid.com seriously consider this suggestion at least.
