That was pretty tight. I didn't notice that would be mate. Obviously, neither did Tartakower.... Why attack the knight, though? Just to lull Tartakower into a false sense of security? I like the trickery on the initial move, though it doesn't immediately make sense. To have genuinely seen he would have forced his way into mate with that move sequence is pure genius. Now, I don't know about his behind (I don't swing that way.)

It´s cool when your opponent makes a small mistake and you get to obliterate him after that.
The problem was actually quite hard until I saw black´s last move.

no, its not a very easy problem. the insight alekhine had really amazes me.
behind is my new slang for mid to end game... enjoy
Ignore the first moves in the move list as they are not accurate... just had trouble with the setup...
