Anderssen's Combination

Here is an interesting combination played by Adolf Anderssen against Journoud.  The opening was a King's Gambit Accepted.  Anderssen found a way to checkmate his opponent.

Bd6!!  is such an amazing clear move , yet I would have a lot of trouble finding it.

Why didn't black play 1...Nxh5 and capture white's queen?
Avatar of Etienne
Well it was slightly better as black could escape mate (I'm not sure if there is a forced mate after that) but he will have to at least give back the queen in a lost position.
