, its not a puzzle, its a position, so you have to visualise the moves (or get out a chessboard)

Hello,

Yes, you're right: it would be more easy to be able to move the pieces, i've got this of course out of some books; I will work on it in a near futur !

Name gives it away, white mates by sacing two of his three pieces, so the w queen is needed on the board to deliver mate. Since it's en prise by black rook, both sacs need to be via check.

Easy puzzle but like it when you cant move the pices, it gets more real that way...

1Rxg7 Kxg7 2Bh6+ ...

2... Kxh6 3 Qg5 mate

2... Kg8 3Qxf8 mate

Yes thats why he better moves to h8, then its mate in 4 not in 3.

Hij verzet zich beter naar h8 dan naar f8, want bij f8 is het mat in 1zet, en bij h8 mat in 2 zetten, dus naar h8 is beter want dat houd de mat nog een zet op.
