Actually, I missed the b'day by a couple of days.  It  was the 19th.

The first bishop's tour post (along with the rules) can be viewed here.

Here's a new puzzle to celebrate:

Nice.  And yes, it looks like you understand all the rules.  Wink

I'll post my solution sometime tonight.  I'm pretty sure there are a lot of solutions for this puzzle.

But I wanna thank you for I had no idea about these tours. Plus when I looked at your profile I learnt about Freeze. I hope the Booklet arrives soon. I can`t wait for it looks like an interesting thing.

Since I don`t live in the States I wasn`t able to buy a game set. Consequently, I`ll have to make a board. All the squares (12x12) are supposed to have the same colour, are they not? Could you tell me about the Freeze notation? Is it A,B,C..L for columns and 1,2,3,...12 for rows?

Boletus_CZ,

I PM'd you answers (basically yes, yes) to your questions.  Thank you for your interest.

Here's the solution I came up with.

Plenty more to be found, if anyone's interested in trying.

The solutions given so far have different squares number 2.  Question: is there a solution for b2 being square 2? (Yes.)  What about e5 or f6 being square 2? (Yes to both, although I found those to be a little trickier.)  What about g7?  (No, hopefully everyone sees why.)

I'll post my solutions for those 3 puzzles in a day or 2.
