Coach says "Find a way to win a rook". I don't understand how this wins a rook? Can someone explain? I can see how it protects my rook, but I don't see how it "wins" a rook.

Maybe if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

From the analysis tool, it’s possible for the white Queen to bully the black King and take the a8 rook but those aren’t the best moves. There’s a better path that leads to a quick checkmate, never taking the black rook. So, the coach missed checkmate. lol

Black is forced to hang their rook to stave off a mate in 2. An instance of Chess.com mislabeling the puzzle.

2.Qf4+ Kc6 3.Qc7+ Kb5 4.Qc5+ Ka4 (4...Ka6 gets mated more quickly) 5.Rb7! with an unparryable threat of Rxb4+ and Qxb4#. The only move to delay mate is to hang the rook with 5...Rb8.

2.Qc7+ is one move faster.

This is actually worse than you make it sound. This "Coach" thing is a paying feature that actively misleads people. Chess.com developers should be ashamed.
