Is white heading for trouble or can he draw? (ok the question does make it obvious which ones he's heading towards).

Yes, he can! Smile

1. Rb5 c1=Q (if c1=R, thinking of a famous composition perhaps, it's still a draw because of the R vs. R) 2. Rc5+ Qxc5 stalemate.
