I thought it was one of those puzzles where it starts without checks, so I moved many many times before I realized what to do. In the end, lot's of fun.

Endgame studies may start with check(s) without restrictions. What's more of a worry is the lack of thematic play. There are no big bangs to decorate the year's end and no surprising subtleties. I trust BishopTakesH7 did his tablebase checks securely though - as always!
