Why didn't the bishop just take the queen on puzzle 2 after whites second move?

The rook would give the checkmate then! (I forgot to add the variation, but i have now!, so check it out). Also note that many of the puzzles lead to mate in 3 moves in different ways and i don't always find every variation :P but if you put it in an engine it will show you all the ways.
