From Susan Polgar's blog

*If black to move:
.....Qh1+
Kg8 Qg1+
Qg4 Qxg4+
Kf8 Qg7+
Ke8 Qe7#
*If white to move:
Qd4+ Ke7
d8=Q+ Kf7
Qc4+ Qd5
Qd5#

I gave up and cheated.
According to the endgame tablebase I use:
http://www.k4it.de/index.php?topic=egtb&lang=en
the game is drawn without the pawns. The tablebase only permits 6 total pieces, including kings, and the pawns would have made 7.
1Qd4 Kd6 (necessary or pawn queens)
Good puzzle and I admit to being stumped. Hopefully someone more intuitive or with more stamina than I will solve it.
*If white to move:
Qd4+ Ke7
d8=Q+ Kf7
Qc4+ Qd5
Qd5#
So what if Black moves Kf5 after the first move? Your solution is not correct
1. Qc6+ Qxc6
2. d8=Q+ Ke6
3. Qg8+ Ke7
4. Qg7 Ke8
And perpetual draw
Black has to play Ke6 or else he allows his pawn to be forked.

Does anyone know what the deal is with Susan Polgar? I thought she was cool, then she was elected to the USCF board and all hell breaks loose, accusations of hacked emails and forged emails (of a rather yucchy nature) and she resigns, I think. Does anyone know whats going on, and if anyone was proven right or wrong?
