Analysis (SPOILERS): Black first checks the king into the corner and does so in a way that allows the queen to reach a5, which creates a mating threat on h2. Blocking with the queen to give up the exchange doesn't help white as then Qxd1+ with a simple mate to follow. White's best try to prolong the game is h3 or h4. Now there is a weakness on h3 which the queen can reach with the checking maneuver shown in the diagram. White can play things like Qxf7+ but those were excluded to seem more natural.
