Appears to be a correct composition in the "grotesque" category (formal term)! You can prolong the solution by one move if you start with the wK in check! That is not illegal and in a sense an attractive intro as white can pick between 4 starting moves only one of which causes black any hardship!
First moves: 1. Ref2 Qf1-e1 and further as in your diagram.
