Deranged

How come your top puzzle rush survival score doesn't show up on the leaderboard?

You scored 189 in survival, which places you #2 overall. Yet your name doesn't appear on the leaderboard at all.

Thanks, I actually got it somewhere after searching for hardest mate in 1.

My Survival score doesn't appear on the leader board because I'm an untitled player.

white will win

Arisktotle

I have a feeling white might indeed win through a series of zugzwangs but I can't figure out how.

In this last puzzle, I'm pretty sure that you can never force black out of the corner. He will always be able to retreat to h8. The problem is that you can never check the black king on h8. Unless the black pawn is forced, by zugzwang, to capture a white bishop on the g-file. Then, a white pawn could recapture and thereby move from the h-file to the g-file. And then I don't think black can prevent white from promoting the pawn. I would play King to f6 to block the black pawn... But I haven't figured it out yet.

Perhaps there is no solution...

Qf6+ allows Kxh6 (then Bc1# comes for a mate in two).  Rff7+ Kh8 and Rxh7# is another simple mate in two.  The hard part was finding a mate in one, particularly since it violates standard puzzle convention about such a move only being usable if it can be proven the the position requires it to be available just to be a legal position.
