I’ve done 100+ custom puzzles in one day, but haven’t gotten the award. Do the puzzles need to be in a game against other players to count?

Not sure! But, I think that award is for solving rated puzzles! Solve some rated puzzles and check if you get the award.

I think this award is for paid user only, bc free user can solve 3 puzzles at max

Yes, you can only do it with rated puzzles and it is only for paid users.

Achievements are buggy. There are good blog posts if you search that help you make sure you're doing everything correctly. Some of the achievements just don't work though.
AmazinglyDifferent is my friend and he has got puzzle machine but he isn't even Premium! how did he get it?

You need the gold, diamond or platinum member to do 100 puzzles in one day to get the puzzle machine award 🥇 I’m diamond member so managed to get the award.

Awards don’t always pop up I played one chess960 to get the random thoughts award but didn’t work.😦

The badge isn't for rated puzzles
Its for puzzle rush
I searched on ChatGPT
You don't need diamond to get it you need to solve 100 puzzles in puzzle rush rated puzzles don't count

I think it's the normal puzzles that only get 3 a day so they're forcing you to get membership to get the achievement
