Is it just me or are puzzles are significantly easier today?

Same here. I’ve gained 200 points in the last hour with only 1-2 incorrect puzzles, but despite a rating of 2200-2400 I’ve not had a single puzzle with a rating above 2000, and the puzzles are MUCH easier than I’ve been getting over the last 2-3 months

Okay, so it’s not just me. I did not get a single puzzle above 1800 in about 40 puzzles. They are all super easy one- or two-move puzzles. I find this highly unusual. I even got a 30-puzzle strike.

Yeah I just reached 3400, 6000th in the world, no way in hell I ever should get close to this rating lol

Not for me... just peaked at above 3500 (previous actual peak was under 3100)

Yeah it’s still an issue. I’ve not had any problems over 2000 since the first of May. I dont think it’s a marketing gimmick as myself and several other posters seem to be diamond status so there’s be nothing to gain. If I wanted lots of easy puzzles, I’d do puzzle rush.
They’ve stuffed up the algorithm and are being very slow to rectify it. Is there a way other than the forum to raise this?

I think it has to do with mobile app: I'm getting sub 2000 puzzles on mobile but works regularly on PC, at least for me.

You are rated 3200, not the puzzles.
The puzzles you did today were all 2160 rated and below.
That means you are rated at least 1000 points above the puzzle difficulty. Based on your rating, your target time for solving them is quite short. You didn't hit the target time in most of the puzzles you solved today.
That's why you are only getting 5 points.

That’s not true. If I get a 9s puzzle in 5s, I still get 5 points if the puzzle rating is significantly below my current rating. The points you get are predominantly driven by the difference between your ranking and the ranking of the problem.
Thus with the current (2 week long and counting) glitch in the puzzle algorithm which never increases the puzzle rating beyond c2100 and predominantly serves up low point puzzles, 5 point gains and 30 point losses are the norm. It also defeats the purpose of the puzzles which is to get progressively harder puzzles so one can improve, rather than hundreds of simple puzzles which simply improve your speed (which I posit is the point of puzzle rush, not the puzzles).
I submitted a bug report but haven’t heard anything.
I don't know what happened, but today I gained 700 hundred puzzle rating points and reached 3100 from my previous highest of 2600, solving about 90% of puzzles. Has anyone noticed the same thing or am I just on fire today?
