all is not lost! you get a piece and a rook for a queen! its bad to an extent but you can still win!ive seen a game where a queen was exchanged for a rook, knight and a pawn!cant remember who won.its wasnt one of my games.

Has no one noticed that the two diagrams are different which is actually fairly fundamental in determining white's ability to save material when protecting his Queen.

White can save his Queen anyway and still have an advantage that black shouldn't recover from.

Although I don't intend to sound mean or anything, your idea to trap the queen was really good!
