Your way wins one pawn, right?

Doesn't Re1 Kf7 Rxe6 Qxe6 Qxe6+ Kxe6 Nxc7+ Kd7 Nxa8 Kc6 Nxb6 Kxb6 win two?

I love knight forks so much, if only I could buy a fork to eat with that had a chess knight at the end of the handle...

I'm not entirely sure it doesn't win a piece:

1. Re1 Kf7 2. Rxe6 Qxe6 3. Qxe6+ Kxe6  4. Nxc7+ Kd7 5. Nxa8 Kc6 6. Be4+ Kc5 (6... Kd7 7. Nxb6+) 7. b4+ axb4 8. axb4+ Kxb4 9. Nxb6.

A better try for black is 5... Bc5 (immediately threatening the knight), but after 6. b4 axb4 7. cxb4 Be3 8. Re1 Bf2 (8... Re8?! 9. Be4 and black's in serious trouble because the bishop is tactically pinned - e.g. 9... Bf4 10. Bc6+!) 9. Re2 white seems to have saved the extra piece.

Good job!

I think you're right. Good analysis, the position was a bit fuzzy in my head and I didn't think much after seeing that White was up two pawns and the Knight was in the corner.
