Marshall' s Qg3 V.2

This position came up in a game between my Dad and me. What strikes me about it is that white has 3 ways to prevent mate but all of them lead to disaster! Of course it is not as impressive as Marshall's Qg3...

Btw in the actual game my dad played it like in the first diagram.

Pretty cool, but I have some questions and comments.

1. Could you provide the moves leading up to the position?

2. How is this position related to Marshall's famous move Qg3? You say it is Qg3 V.2, but it does not seem to be connected in terms of concept.

For those who do not know to what I am refering to, the game is Levitsky-Marshall, 1912.

In position 2, it should end with "a crushing position for black"

Ok, here is the full game: I'm trying to recall it by memory as I didn't record the moves, so some of the moes might be in the wrong order.

The only matching concept with the Marshall game is that all 3 moves lead to disaster. Of course there was nothing great about my move, just the position that came up Money mouth

And the best part, which you may not realize for many years, is that you played this game with your father . . .
