it's not realistic at all!! white has a lot of chance to kill the queen and take the game afterwards. i don't think i got it, interesting though

Sweet!!

That's insane!  Very fun.  Thanks for the post.
georgez
That was insane!!! Very interesting!

That was one of the best things I have EVER seen!!!!! Brilliant.  I wonder what the most number of simultaneous checks in an actualgame is.
Sothilde

What do you think about this one? This is the current record, a mate in 517 for white! You can see the full story at post 316 on this site:

Wouldn't that position be drawn, at the latest, on White's 301st move due to the fifty move rule?

is broken. Can you give the correct link?

Thanks ;.)

It's ok

Thanks!

redblack_redemption
Yes, it would be drawn. In positions like those, the number of moves to mate are usually calculated for theoretical purposes only, thanks to the 50-move rule.
Sothilde
True, it would be a draw in practice. I guess this is the same kind of sport as calculating the highest prime number, of which the current record is 227,832 digits long Tongue out

NICE GAME, it was interesting to play through it...

Thanks for your answer, cuendillar

yeah, i did get that, but i just think it's a bit silly with a really obvious mate in 1.  If there was a quicker mate that was hard to find, or none at all, i think it would be cooler.  Also, it was in part a response to #2.
