By the way, the Black King here is Don Quixote... taken from an old Don Quixote themed chess set we had in the house.

I like the painting happy.png I solved the puzzle (by looking at the painting), but first I was trying to figure out which way the pawns were going. xD

I believe this is the puzzle position and the solution I found ...

Oh by the way, forgot to post in the puzzle, but Black is in zugwang because the Bishop is forced to defend a7 constantly. If after Ra6, a Bishop move is played: it loses to Rxa7#

It's a good puzzle, eh? (and a decent painting happy.png  I wonder if my Pa could offer a "paint your best checkmate" service to chess nerds everywhere)
