1. Kb6 Bxf4 2. P=Q+ Bb8 3. Qa4+ Ba7 4. Qxa7# is what i got
Mate in 3: Twins
1. Bc7! Bxc7 2. f8=Q Bb8 3. Qf3#
Nice puzzle.
Great, the twin is a little harder.
TWINS: two or more compositions consisting of almost identical positions but distinctly different solutions.
Oh, I see your edit. Never mind
The second one has to be 1.Be7 B(any) 2.f8(Q)+ Bb8 3.Qf3#
Well done, too easy, I think....
Ok the second one:
1. Ba7! Bxa7 2. f8=Q+ Bb8 3. Qf3#
Edit:
I missed Bd6! Going to have to do this over again:
1. Be7 works because it stops Bd6, right?
OK, that's what I thought, but I'm used to just seeing a position and then b) WB to c5 or something like that. I was typing my first post before there was a second diagram, so I thought I may have been confused about what one was.
Oinquarki, 1.Ba7 not only gives away the mate, it gives away the win! 1...Bd6 draws. That's why other Bishop moves fail in the first diagram.
