good one
Mate in 7
Black could have maybe gone move 26 Re1+ but that would have just made a really bad game for him nice job.
Ya, i wondered if he would go through with that but thought that if he did id just try to exchange one of my rooks asap and win an easy end game.
Then again, i might of been able to just move my king with out taking with the knight and still be threatening mate. Just it would take a move longer. I might be wrong but from scimming it over really quick it seems like it would still work.
Yes I agree with NM tonydal, instead of your first move 22.Nf3, here are some lines after: 22.h3 ...and BTW, all of them lead to mate in less than 7!

I think 22 h3 is quicker.
Lol now it makes sense. its a completly diffrent sequence of moves if u move on h3 on the 22nd or 23rd thats where the confusion came up. and then i gave the wrong line lol.
Going with the line that Mehdipiero gave, 2... g6 which attacks the rook on f5 aswell as blocks the rook d6 giving the king an excape square. Also, i can't do a discovered check anymore since the pawn can just take the rook after 23. Nf3+. Plus, the rook move to 1...Re1+ isn't even needed to get out
I don't think 22. h3 is a better move cuz of 22...g6 but if u can find a better line with 22. h3 please share cuz im intersted.
Hey deadpoetic, I think you misunderstood me, I said I agreed with tonydal & to the contrary, 22.h3 IS better & leads to mate in 4 by force! check the lines i put again please. (click moves list button)

Very nice analysis, Mehdipiero. I think you are correct - h3 leads to mate in 4.
