Is it with 1 b7?
Mate in two.. Quite difficult.

Re4 is basically the meat of this one.
After that, depending on black's response there's a mating move. If there's a move for black after Re4 that I've missed where white can't subsequently mate, let me know. I don't see it.
What do I win? ;)
wow took me 5 seconds (sorry but it was easy) first u do rook e5 then it forces the king into 2 legal moves Kc4 and d4. then u move queen to h4 checkmate. if this is right do i get a trophy
My idea is having the Knight to b2 and then checking w/ smth. but I couldn't find what to check with:D

This is the pattarn that I saw, but from the title it implies that this is wrong. It is only checkmate if black King chooses d4. If King chooses to move to c4, then Queen to h4 leaves King to b3 open and a chase is on. Granted the King is in a small part of the board, but with Rook at e5 Queen at h4 and pawn at d2 and bishop at g7 whites pieces are not in position to get the checkmate any time soon. The Knights are helpful, but also not in the right place. So king to b3 results in a chase that many different choices, or errors could change the actual outcome. But played right Black King will loose. Again however according to the title this pattarn is wrong.

@ OckhamsRazor: 1 Re4 - Kxe4
And then 2. Qh1#
Ahhhh, I did have it wrong, thanks bunches.

lol ... well seen :) I didn't thought much on that possibility....
and what if 1 Re4 - Bc8?
Black loose material but only receives mate in the 3rd move.
1. Re4
if king takes the rook, Qh1#
if bishop moves, Qc6# or Qe6#
if knight moves, Nc3#
if peon moves, Rd4#
took me 6-7 minutes

i see a mate in tree
knight b3-c4 ( only good response)
rook e5+ - king d4 ( only response)
queen d6 mate
cool

This is a mate in 2.. But I bet most of
you cant solve it :)
