does 1...c3 hold him off?  Lot to look at.  I thought 1Qb6 looked good.  Threatens both 2Qd4 and 2Qe6 edit: and 2Qg6 if 1....NxQb6 2Re6.

Edit I see the problem with 1...c3. 2Qxd3. Obvious, but I spaced it.

Excellent puzzle, didn't see the zugzwang there for a while, took me a long time to solve that one
