Yes I know 1.h5 is not forced , apart from that ( and Rh8 # being quicker ) it's valid .

Ok, why do you make a big deal of it . Just imagine that puzzle starts on move 2.

Your variation is incorrect  its a forced mate in every case

Check with Fritz if you don't believe me , but after h5 , its a forced mate in all variations for white

Yes , I know I was too lazy to remove the first move . Bare in mind this took me around 10 minutes to make without a chess board or a computer. I think 2.Nxh5 is a good find :)
