Black playing for a draw and white for a win.

RosarioVampire

Why would Black be playing for a draw after Bg7?
1...Rxf1+ 2.Ke2 R8f2+ 3.Ke3 Nxg7. Black is completely winning.

Tyzer

That was a wonderful showcase of awful play by black. Two knights up in the endgame and he blundered away three pawns and a knight?

emtofaan

Black is winning anyways, and thats called human brain!

But why not mess it all up to get a differnrt positionWink!

emtofaan

I ve got another position that ill post soon...

and it will be all messed up as this oneCool.

gvs567

Black could have played 13....a4

Scarblac

@AnthonyCG and there's even 4...Rc1+ 5.Kxc1 Nd3+

Archerknight

This is just black playing horrible!!

This is a bad puzzle.

mississauga99

if 1 Bg6, black can win white's queen...

2..., Rxf1+, Ke2, Nf4+

if 3 Kxf1, Nd5+

if 3 Ke3, Nd5+

CPawn

That is not an example of playing for a win, that is an example of black playing awful.

Ricardo_Morro

This "puzzle" is nonsense!

David_Spencer

You can say White is playing for a win, but it sure doesn't look that way to me.

The puzzle was difficult to follow but if you look into the person posting it you have to give him some respect.  Emtofaan is 13 years old according to his profile and by his rating it looks like he is just learning the game.

Sure there is some poor play in the puzzle but I bet Emtofaan is learning the game faster than most of us did just by reading our comments and going back to the board to better analyze the game.

If Emtofaan keeps up his enthusiasm and his study of the game he could come become better players than all of us.

emtofaan

HAHAHAHAHAH!

That what was called a joke, and funny enough nobody understoodLaughing.

And by the way, thnx for ur comment lou_u.Im really "bad" at finding checkmates, always stalemates.
