chess.com rapid is currently in 2000s, but why do you ask? Are you trying to identify what the average rating seems to be? The global average rating is in the 600s. People who post in the forum threads are probably more likely to be higher rated than the global average and especially if you ask them to post their rating. Higher rated players feel more confident in sharing their rating (or showing off) than someone who suspects they are lower rated.
