Puzzle!!!!!!!!!!!
There is simply no way black can win as soon as white gets the pawn at e4. The pawn at e3 is defended by th king on d2. The black horse cant try to move him in anyway, only in the third turn.
After this i can make the most likely place to move to as white
Althogether (including chemicalchessman's varations) there are 6 versions of what black can do. Black can't win and what are "better moves".
Black can't win and what are "better moves"
Black is trying to draw. I think you've proved the best move for black is to decline the N sac.
In the second puzzle, I don't think 4.Na5 leading to the double knight sac is the best move. You give too much control back to black, giving black the chance to win the pawn attack.
I prefer 4.Nd6+
Black is forced to move his king rather than bring his own knight into play. White's next move is 5.e4 regardless of black's move. Black either takes the pawn which opens up the same "cascade effect" as the first puzzle, letting one of the pawns by, or black declines to take the pawn and now white still has two passed pawns. The king/knight combo can't stop both passed pawns at once. Especially not with the white knight defended by a pawn and defending the king's chances of getting to the first one.
Much more control for white than 4.Na5.
by the way, the first puzzle is in chess.com's tactics trainer.
