Can you solve these puzzles? 🧠

I'm 2000 FIDE rated, and got them wrong on my first go in Puzzle Rush. Puzzle #3 stumped me.

Puzzle 1 (White to play)

Explanation: see 00:15 in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfmG7oJrrnU

Puzzle 2 (Black to play)

Explanation and answer: see 01:45 at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfmG7oJrrnU&t=105s

Puzzle 3 (White to play)

I really struggled with this one!

Explanation: see 16:01 at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfmG7oJrrnU&t=105s

Let me know what you think!

The first 2 I saw pretty quickly due to the lack of candidate moves, The third one took me a while to realize it was not g4, but I eventually figured it out.

(I did this without looking at the analysis on the side)

You inconsistently provided the pre-start move, causing more confusing and lack of fair chance. I got ripped son if I don't get my money back I'm gonna go straight to my room and break every toy I own.

True - didn't realise. I actually first tried to snip the images only rather than pgn, but it wouldn't let post. I'm not great with tech, what's the best/easiest way to share the positions/images?

@RossLam, use FEN for puzzles. I haven't tried it yet but I just read that few days ago! That's what happens when I study when tired. tongue

Ok thanks! I didn't think about people being able to see the answers when I posted the pgn

For anyone interested in PGN and FEN that may not understand the terms or simply how to use them, I just learned this a week ago or so. I haven't (yet) dug as deeply as @DocSimooo though!

You're smart you'll figure it out if all else fails then just quit chess and turn into a potato

Thank you!

When inserting puzzle you have to toggle puzzle theme to true, this will hide the answers and it will just say “white to move,” or “black to move” with a hint icon in the bottom
