Puzzles is crazy right now

I’m losing 17-26 ELO for everything I get wrong, plus I’m grinding on 1600 and 1700 puzzles, just got a 16 puzzle streak, yet I’m only up 80 points because of the ridiculous thing, please fix this. 

Well, the puzzles are also very easy.

I'm 4672 on puzzles right now puzzle grind could be difficult especially when you accidentally think too quickly on one possibility and start doing something like a premove and lose your streak.

use chesstempo for puzzles. They are way better. Lichess puzzles are the worst tho, at high levels they are just weird unnatural computer lines no one can find in game.

Prob because you’re doing standard puzzles.

I've had the same problem, many times for solving an entire puzzle I'd only get like 5 rating points, and the puzzle wasn't even that easy, but for getting ONE move wrong I'd lose like 10 or more rating points, very unacceptable.

I lose 40 points and so I grind more. I gain 5 and I lose 40 . So, I got to think long and hard.

Sometimes go take a rest and think about the board with the chess pieces use my patterns I already learned.

I see that they already give you a hint but most of the time I don't use it.

The hint is circled in blue.

I got 48 puzzle streak but died . I am sad, so close to a 50 streak.

Does chess com even acknowledge ?

Well, maybe you have to change the puzzle difficulty in the puzzle settings.

A couple of days ago, I switched from hard to standard because I was relaxing and, suddenly, I couldn't get any wrong. I shot up to 2909! The next day, I started doing puzzles again on standard and it seemed like every one was a trick puzzle and I lost rating very fast, falling back down to something closer to my normal, slow progression. I think there was some tuning that made them too easy and they fixed it the next day.

I do these puzzles for the challenge and to relax. When they were too easy, it wasn't as fun. Sure, I'd lose 20 points for one loss, having to do 4 just to catch up again, but that is what makes the puzzles worthwhile - and I get to say naughty words more often. The real point isn't to brag, but to get good at chess.

That being said, I do miss that one day of bragging. 😏
