i was trying e8
Shortest-proof-game challenge

that was a good position
requires 2 black promotions, which are not obvious
black looks like he has a bunch of free moves to maneuver when there is none (the qa6 is for changing move turn and rook and knight for promotion)

You can do without Black promotions, but I liked your solution with the extra Knights. From my minimal moves counting, yours must be an SPG.

for the record, the b1 knight couldve been any piece (its use was to optimally get rid of blacks c pawn and whites b pawn) and the g1 knight was given by evin sung in "the h pawn is captured on e2"
also, i think these other solutions (with more black piece movements) were unintentional

I came across this interesting position and found a 66-move proof game, but I think it can be a fair amount shorter.
Found it! Longer than the 62.0 move game, but still, that was tricky. I was suspecting the bNe1 was original, but I couldn’t prove that until now. (#3640)
I was guessing you would find it, if anyone did. Here's my 62-move game.

It was a very tricky position indeed, even though it seems black could have easily given white tempi. I considered as an afterthought whether promoting to another piece was possible, but a rook/queen would prevent Kf5-e6 being legal, and a bishop couldn’t escape.
Now it’s my turn to challenge you. Another one I made:
white pawn promote on a8
