White actually has no legal last move in the position. e3 means the bishop could never have gotten to d1 before that.

what if black made the last move(ie white to move)

Now that I look at it blacks only last move would have had to have been capturing a white piece with the black e pawn, maybe from f7 for example.

I’d like to see someone attempt this.

Are the coordinates right: h8 bottom left and a1 top right?
If yes, then the last move must have been g7-g8=B# or f7xg8=B#.
If no, then the last move must have been e5xf6 e.p. #.
