SNES Chessmaster got stuck in this position,why?

I was playing chessmaster in my SNES emulator and we get to this position. i use the fast forward and after 1 hour in-game,it still without moving. It is hard or something?

Sounds like a bug in SNES Chessmaster. May even be random, nothing to do with this position.
