nice but faster is 5.Ne8+ ....Nd6 6.Bxd6+....Ka8 7.Rc8#

You didn't miss anything. Black has no shot anyway you look at it, with White's possiblities, it's just that the original killed soft and slowly. =)

Yes, it also occured to me that this is not a puzzle, more a game extract... who knows what pressure (time or otherwise) White may have been under? It was a good combination anyway, it's just that the interference move Ne8+ screamed at me to be played. I thought it was worth sharing... hope so.
