I'm pretty sure an immediate 3...Rxd3 is better, threatening 4...Bf2+ 5...Bxg3# (in fact I don't think there's a defense, outside of the meaningless delays like Nc6+ or Rf1... ah wait he has Rf3... but... )

Here it is, I think this becomes an ok puzzle

I like both those variations as well. I see now that Black's Bishop at g1 is protected by the Rook, so Black can leave the Bishop at g1 while capturing White's Rook at d3.
